The board of directors has
appointed a Royal Pines Architectural Review Board (RP-ARB) as mandated by
the governing documents. The function of the ARB is to review for approval
or denial plans submitted by property owners for changes or modifications
to the exterior of a home or yard.
In the event you plan to make changes to your home exterior or
yard - including, but not limited to changing the paint color of a
home, removal of a tree, installation of a screen enclosure, substantial
changes to the original landscape design, fence installation, etc. -
you must first complete and submit an Architectural
Review Application to the ARB for review and approval. Any
changes made without first seeking the written approval of the ARB will be
considered a violation of the Covenants and Restrictions.
We recommend property owners familiarize themselves with the Covenants
and Restrictions and the WGV Residential Design Standards (Requirements)
and Guidelines (Recommendations) documents, including which plant
materials are recommended. Please remember that Queen Palms, sold
by local nurseries, are an invasive species and are forbidden in all World
Golf Village neighborhoods.
Satellite dish locations - The board requests that satellite dishes be
put in the least conspicuous and obtrusive place possible that will still
give the owner a signal. If possible dishes should be placed in the back
of the house.
If you are planning any changes, please download and complete an Architectural
Review Application Form and submit to MAY Management Services. Once
completed and accompanied by any requested information, simply return the
form to MAY Management who will forward it to the ARB for its review. You
will then be advised in writing of the ARB's findings.
